Get to know me

Peter Chan (They/He) is a queer New York-based interdisciplinary artist currently working in costume design. With a foundation in building trusting relationships and holding empathetic accountability. They seek to create a space for others to feel welcome. The goal of their work is to channel the art of transformation, how to embody someone else through textiles. Peter is passionate and excited about entering the world and dipping their toes into getting more experience artistically and professionally while also curating an experience.  In moments of calm, you can find them photographing the world, leafing through Facebook Marketplace listings, or soaking up the sun and touching grass.
